Everything you need to know about NDIS supports and our services.
NDIS Basics
The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is an Australian Government initiative that provides support and funding to people with permanent and significant disabilities. It gives eligible participants a plan with funding to purchase supports and services that help them achieve their goals and live as independently as possible.
To be eligible for the NDIS you must: be under 65 years of age, be an Australian citizen, permanent resident or Protected Special Category Visa holder, have a permanent disability that significantly affects your ability to do everyday activities, and/or require disability-specific early intervention support.
You can apply for the NDIS by contacting the NDIA on 1800 800 110, or by submitting an Access Request Form. You will need to provide evidence of your disability. Care Alliance Network can help you through the application process — contact us for a free consultation.
Our Services
We provide a comprehensive range of NDIS supports including Daily Living & Personal Care, Community Participation, Supported Independent Living (SIL), Short Term Accommodation (Respite), Plan Management, Support Coordination, Therapeutic Supports, Early Childhood Supports, Transport Assistance, and Assistive Technology.
Yes. Care Alliance Network Australia is a fully registered NDIS provider. This means we have been independently assessed and meet all quality and safeguarding requirements set by the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission.
Absolutely. We believe in person-centred care and will work hard to match you with a support worker whose skills, availability, and personality align with your needs and preferences.
Plan Management
Plan Management is a service funded in your NDIS plan where a registered Plan Manager handles the financial administration of your NDIS funding — paying providers, tracking your budget, and providing financial statements. It gives you more choice while reducing administrative burden.
Plan Management is funded separately in your NDIS plan and does not come out of your other funding. If you don't currently have Plan Management in your plan, you can request it at your next plan review.
SIL & Housing
SIL provides funding for the support you need to live as independently as possible in a shared home. It covers the cost of support workers who assist with daily living tasks, not the rent or housing costs themselves. Care Alliance Network offers quality SIL homes with 24/7 support.
To explore SIL with us, submit a SIL enquiry through our website or call us. Our team will conduct an initial assessment and work with you, your family, and your NDIS planner to explore if SIL is right for you and find the best home match.
Referrals & Joining
You can submit a referral through our online Referral Form, call us directly, or email us. We accept self-referrals as well as referrals from family members, carers, support coordinators, healthcare professionals, and government agencies.
We aim to respond to all referrals within 2 business days. Urgent referrals are prioritised and we will aim to make contact on the same day.
